Typically after such an elongated absence, I would play the violin for my lack of written creativity. This time, I can explain that I've been busy at my other blog.  However, I am starting to feel convicted about ignoring  this space. 

I am forcing myself to write something though I don't specifically know what to share. I do know that I have been itching to write a little more on our adoption. However, I have to get in the appropriate writer's zone. Right now,I'm still in aisle 5 of the grocery store "zone".

It is almost unnerving to think that I don't have much to share from my life. For the past 2 years, our "journey" has almost been normal. I will admit that it is starting to feel good being wrapped in familiarity and comfort.  Whenever that happens, I start to think what am I not doing that I should be doing?

The last time I asked that, we got a dog. And I will publically admit here that I am now a full fledged dog person. I don't even mind his hair,drool or stink that much.

Awww. I am so glad I said "yes".

Imagine the blessings that could be given  if you say "yes" to something of real substance.  It might look something like this.
